Who we are
The Gubbi is a Bengaluru-based business selling hand-turned wooden decorative objects made in Channapatna, Karnataka. Reach us at hi@thegubbi.com.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Shipping is shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken in full when you place the order, through our payment partner. We may correct an obvious pricing error before dispatch; if we do, you can cancel for a full refund.
Orders
An order is accepted when we email your confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if the piece is out of stock, we suspect fraud, or the address cannot be served; you are refunded in full in each case. Each piece is hand-turned, so grain, colour and finish vary slightly from the photographs.

Not a toy
Every Gubbi object is a decorative item for adults. It is not a toy, is not tested as one, and is not for children under 14. It may contain small parts and natural lac finish. Keep it on the desk, not in the cot.
Intellectual property
The characters, names, stories, photographs and this website belong to The Gubbi. Buying an object does not transfer any rights in its design. Please don’t copy or reproduce them commercially.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
